Located just 5 minutes drive (less than 3km) from Port Macquarie’s CBD, T’s Tennis Resort is a budget accomodation that’s probably one of Port Macquarie’s best.
The property is spread out over 2.5 acres and is a family retreat like no other. Boasting tennis courts, mini golf and a pool just to start with will keep the family active for hours.
With different accommodation types spread across the property including hotel rooms, cabins and apartments guests from 1 to many can be catered for. There’s also areas for cook outs, washing your clothes and much more.
I stayed in a cabin on this visit which is a basic elevated room with an attached bathroom, a bed and a small kitchenette.
The view from the window even fools you into forgetting you’re in town.
The cabins also feature a communal area for cooking up some light food and tending to the laundry.
In the morning you will find the resort owner, Te up and tending to breakfast in the main building.
Breakfast is self serve with breads, crumpets, muffins, cereals, fruit and much more located in the dining area which you prepare yourself. When you’re done you wash your dishes in the sink around the back. There’s also juices and coffee available.
After you’re done with breakfast you can explore the many things to do on the property. From a game of tennis to going for a swim to barbecuing up some lunch everything has been thought of. After a hardcore game of tennis there’s plenty of relaxation to be had with seating areas around the property and often subtle Buddhist inspired gardens to take in.
While T’s Tennis Resort is a budget accommodation the level of service provided by the staff and the many amenities available make this property feel much less budget.
I would highly recommend a stay here especially if you have a family who can enjoy the many activities available.
