Port Macquarie 11 December 2016

Just a normal part of my routine lately is to fly up to Port Macquarie from Sydney every few weeks to see my family.  This weekend was much like any other.

The day was nice and sunny, not too hot.

The flight was a little turbulent around Port Macquarie as it normally is in the little ATR72’s that Virgin Australia fly with.

I started out in the Virgin Australia Lounge an hour or so before the flight for some breakfast before heading to the gate to catch VA1187 to Port Macquarie.

The plane took flight from Runway 34R and over Sydney Harbour.  I got some great video and photos.

After arriving in Port Macquarie I disembarked and collected my hire car which was a Toyota RAV4.  Got to say, I like the car.

And the rest of the day is history.  Time with the family is always good.

Later that night I boarded a delayed flight VA1192 back to Sydney and back to home.
